Surrender Ye Hearts!!!

So, this Valentines Day I wanted to take pictures of something a little different from the hearts, and stuff like that. Last years photos were so great, I don't think I could have ever topped them.

But seriously How cute is this LOVE PIRATE? 

His dad was all for this idea since he knew I wouldn't be throwing his son in front of a bunch of hearts & flowers.
Although I still think the hearts, candy, and all that Valentines stuff is super cute, apparently is not very "manly"

SO these pictures don't scream "VALENTINES DAY" but that was really the point. 

I thought the cards I designed turned out pretty good..

Just the perfect amount of hearts to still be "man approved" :P

Although my idea isn't thee most original, I did like taking pictures of my "love pirate" and he LOVED getting to pretend to be a pirate for a photo shoot. 

WIN! WIN!

The original plan was to get a few good pictures to go with a couple of sayings I had for the Valentine cards I had made, I ended up getting so MANY other ones I loved. ♥

I just loved seeing him in his element. He was having so much fun with the "Arrghs!!" and sword fighting the wind.

A big THANK YOU goes out to my friend Sarah who helped me with this. She was kind enough to lend me some cool pirate gear, and give me some extra hands for the shoot.

So, every year Coop's Mommy & Me class has a Valentine Party.
All the kids pass out cards and candy.
Its so adorable.

So I had to take this pirate idea and run with it...
I found these adorable little chests on Oriental Trading

I filled them with all kinds of candies, bubbles and beads.
By LUCK I found Happy Valentines Day silver coins at World Market.
How perfect!! Right?

I thought the chests turned out super cute, I can't wait for him to hand them out. I hope they bring a smile to everyone's face :)
